The Dane Gallery was founded in 1996 by glass artist Robert Dane and his wife Jayne Hare Dane. The gallery was located at 28 Centre Street in downtown Nantucket for 21 years, before we closed the doors at the end of 2016.

The Dane Gallery continues to represent many of our artists online.
We continue to offer very personal service to all of our clients.

Working closely with artists, art collectors, designers and architects, we help to guide our clients in building private and/or public collections, as well as commissions and site-specific installations. We continue to represent leading artists working in glass, ceramics, and wood after establishing ourselves as one of the premier contemporary art galleries in the country
